In case you didn’t know I’ve been in Japan for a little over a week, 10 days to be exact and now I’m back.
Although I had some content to be scheduled while I was away I just wasn’t feeling the blogging vibe, or if I’m being completely honest I didn’t feel any motivation for it. Maybe I was focusing on blogging too much, in the sense that it was something I had to do and therefore I was forgetting the fun aspect of it. Whatever the reason I’m glad I had a break and I’m feeling A) more confident with myself and my blog and (excuse the corny thing I’m about to say here…) B) I’m happier because Japan makes me feel better about life. Everyone is lovely there and it’s somewhere I always feel at home. It’s difficult to explain, but if you have something that makes you feel better, or a place you go that instantly perks you up, you’ll know where I’m coming from.
Now that I’m back I have so much content in the works. Literally loads. I don’t know what happened, but I was on the plane and all of a sudden BAM the inspiration fairy hit me and I was scribbling down ideas in my notebook like my hand was on fire.
You might be wondering what you can expect from my blog in the coming months, well I’m not going to go into too much detail but you can expect lots of travel tips, location specific posts, places to see and things to do in Japan, and lots of other lifestyle and food posts too. Seen as I’ve got a fair bit of extra content I’m aiming to post three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Tuesday will be my new addition to my blog schedule for all my travel posts, Thursday will remain my lifestyle day, which includes everything from lifestyle, beauty and fashion, and lastly Sunday will also remain as it is, my foodie day – many seasonal goodies are coming!
