Welcome Back!

Back to blogging

I’m back!

Welcome to my new and improved blog. If you’re a returning reader you’ll definitely notice that The Lifestyle Archives has had a little… or maybe I should say, massive facelift.

If you’ve never visited, hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet!

What happened?

I’ve been wanting to make my blog more ‘me’ for the last six months and I was toying with the idea of changing the layout because let’s be real, the ones that come with blogger or WordPress are great to start with, but after a while, especially when you get into your element, you really want to change it up and make it more personal – and in my case I wanted something that gave a better representation of me. So, voila! A new blog [template] was born.

What can you expect?

First of all, I really want to create a lot more content that I’ve been wanting to do for a while and up my game. I realise this is extremely unhelpful to you, the reader, as I’m not being specific, but I don’t want to promise something and not go through with it. So stay tuned!

I’m changing my upload schedule to Wednesday and Sunday, however there may be extra posts popping up now and again. Likewise with changing my schedule I will no longer be posting food posts on Sundays. Don’t worry though there will still be many food posts coming your way (I currently have 10 ideas in my bullet journal) but I want to mix things up a bit and create a better balance.

The Brunch Edit is definitely something I will be continuing with – if you didn’t know I created this blog post series designed around brunch ideas that do not include your typical poached egg and avocado on toast. You can find this series under the Food section on the menu at the top of the screen. Additionally, I want to branch out and do more foodie posts and share some of my favourite recipes and food tips with you.

In case you’re wondering the lovely Phil at Pipdig sorted out this lovely design for me, and helped me customise it. If you’re looking for a new website design for your blog, brand website or whatever you have I couldn’t recommend Pipdig enough. Not only were all my question answered (and there were a lot!) but I felt that my blog was in the right hands, and I’m definitely not disappointed with the final outcome.

If you couldn’t guess I’m pretty dang excited to get back into blogging and looking forward to creating new content.

Go and check out my social media channels if you haven’t already, I’m starting to post more regularly on there now that my blog is back up and running.

Have a happy Wednesday!
